The Competition

With the competition on wireless plans these days, we see the cost drop little by little as many providers fight for your business.  Virgin Mobile has the best price in 2008 when they introduced the unlimited plan for $79.99.  The competition then did one better with Boost offering its unlimited plan for fifty USD.

Cricket then jumped on the wagon and came out with its version for less but they did not offer the complete national network.  Then in 2009 Virgin Mobile jumped ahead again with its totally unlimited prepaid voice calling plan.  This one costs $49.99 and there is no contract or roaming charges.

Both Boost and Virgin run on the nationwide Sprint network, but the Boost plan includes unlimited text messaging and Virgin does not.  That feature can be added though for about ten dollars a month.

When you are next checking prices for a provider for your mobile phone, take time to see what each provider offers and then pick the one that fits your needs for a phone service.  It pays to spend the time shopping around and then compare what you found before you make the purchase.  Finding that perfect phone is just a click away.
